What does hotspot software do?

Your guests get online through your own login page instead of a shared password on the wall. You decide who connects, for how long, at what speed and to which sites.

In Turkey, hotels, cafes, dorms and similar places that offer public internet must keep access logs and use a content filter (Law No. 5651). Wi-Fi Manager keeps those logs for you.

  • A shared password spreads

Every guest gets their own voucher. When time runs out the code stops working and can't be passed on.

  • One device clogs the line

Every package has its own speed limit. The line is enough for every guest and reception stays fast.

  • Access logs are mandatory

Which device connected and when is recorded automatically and kept for two years.

Three steps at reception. Guests install nothing.

You hand out the voucher and set the rules. HandyCafe Wi-Fi does the rest.

  1. 1

    Hand out a voucher

Pick a package and the voucher slip prints. It shows the code, network name and package.

  2. 2

    The guest connects

When the phone joins the network, the login page opens by itself. The guest types the code and is online.

  3. 3

It shuts off when time is up

When the time or data runs out, the internet stops. The guest buys a new voucher.

Setup: A Windows PC with two network cards is all it takes. It can be your reception PC or a separate one. Your modem and access points stay as they are.

Everything guest Wi-Fi needs, in one app

Wi-Fi Manager runs on your reception PC. From selling vouchers to the access log, it all happens in the same window.

Your login page, two ways in

When a guest joins the network, the login page opens by itself. Your venue name sits at the top and you choose the color.

  • With a voucher code: the guest types the code from the slip reception hands over
  • With a member account: regulars sign in with their own username and password, no code needed
  • Without a code: TVs, POS terminals and cameras stay connected
  • 25 languages: you choose the language of the login page

Set up a package once, print vouchers in one click

Every package has four settings: time, data quota, speed and number of devices. When a guest arrives, you pick the package and print the voucher.

  • Thermal printer or A4: the voucher slip prints in seconds
  • Bulk voucher packs: print vouchers ahead and keep them in stock
  • Cash or card: every sale goes into the end-of-day revenue

Guests, staff and devices on separate rules

Every device belongs to a group: guests, staff or devices that need no code. Speed, filter and internet line are set per group. You see every connected device live and limit or block one with a click.

  • Speed per group: 20 Mbps for guests, 50 Mbps for staff
  • Devices that need no code: the lobby TV, POS and cameras stay connected
  • Per-device settings: a fixed IP, its own speed or its own internet line

Unwanted sites stay closed

Switch off categories like gambling, adult content and harmful sites with one click. Even if a device changes its own DNS setting, it can't get around the filter.

  • 11 categories: HandyCafe keeps the lists up to date
  • Your own lists: sites to block and sites to always allow
  • Rules per group: one filter for guests, another for staff

The access log is ready, signed and kept for two years

Which device connected from which address and when is recorded automatically. The logs are sealed and signed every day. When an official request arrives, you find the device from the public IP and port.

  • Daily seal and signature: the integrity check shows which day was changed
  • Find a device: go from public IP, port and time to the device
  • Export: download as CSV or print

If a line drops, guests don't notice

Use more than one internet line together. Traffic is shared across the lines and if one drops, it moves to the backup by itself.

  • Load sharing and a backup line
  • Line choice: send a device or group out through the line you choose
  • Live status: latency and load of every line

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy a router or a special device?

No. HandyCafe Wi-Fi installs on a Windows PC with two network cards. Your modem and access points stay as they are.

My PC has only one network card.

It installs with one card but can't manage internet traffic. For speed limits, filtering and voucher login, the PC needs a second network card.

How many devices can connect?

There's no limit. The price doesn't change with the number of devices or users.

Do guests have to install an app?

No. When the phone joins the network, the login page opens in the browser by itself.

What happens if the HandyCafe Wi-Fi PC restarts?

The internet drops for 1 to 3 minutes, then comes back by itself. While the PC is off, guest internet stops too. Put it somewhere it stays on.

What if the reception PC shuts down?

If HandyCafe Wi-Fi runs on a separate PC, sold vouchers and connected guests keep working. To sell new vouchers, Wi-Fi Manager must be open. If both run on the same PC, guest internet stops too.

Can the access log be changed later?

If it is, it shows. The logs are sealed and signed every day. The integrity check shows which day was changed.

Can guests sign in with a room number?

Not yet. Reception hands out a voucher slip, no hotel software connection needed.
