Cloud Messages
The Messages tab is your inbox for messages sent from the HandyCafe cloud. It is free and does not require a subscription.
The tab title shows a count of unread messages. The same count appears on the Overview tab.
Message Types
Each message carries a type badge:
| Type | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Payment | A payment processed in the cloud that can be applied to a member account. |
| Announcement | News or notices from HandyCafe. |
| Command | An instruction sent to your server. |
| Info | General information. |
A message that needs your attention also shows an Action required badge. Each message displays its title, a short preview, and the time it was received. Use Read more and Show less to expand or collapse the full text.
Reading and Clearing Messages
- Mark as read: Clears a single message from the unread count.
- Mark all as read: Clears every unread message at once.
- Delete: Removes a message. You are asked to confirm before it is deleted.
Applying a Payment
A payment message includes a Confirm & Apply to Account button. Selecting it asks you to confirm that the payment should be applied to the member account. Once confirmed, the payment is applied and you see a confirmation. If the action does not go through, the tab tells you to try again.
Empty State
When there are no messages, the tab reads that there are no messages from the cloud yet.
