Members and Cashier Statistics
This page documents the Member Usage and Cashier Stats tabs of the Statistics dashboard. These tabs focus on the people who use and operate your cafe.
Member Usage Tab
The Member Usage tab analyzes registered member behavior and engagement.
Top Members by Spending
Members are ranked by total amount spent within the selected date range. This identifies your highest-value customers, which can inform loyalty rewards, targeted promotions, or VIP treatment decisions.
Session Frequency per Member
Shows how often each member visits by counting their sessions over the selected period. Frequent visitors represent your core customer base.
Average Session Duration
Calculates the mean session length per member. Members with consistently long sessions may benefit from prepaid packages or time-based promotions, while short sessions may indicate price sensitivity or specific usage patterns.
Member Retention
Tracks how many members return over time. Retention metrics help evaluate whether your loyalty programs, tier system, and overall service quality are keeping customers engaged. A declining retention rate is an early warning signal that requires attention.
Cashier Stats Tab
The Cashier Stats tab evaluates the performance of your cashier staff across their shifts.
Transactions Processed per Cashier
Counts the total number of transactions (session payments, orders, top-ups) handled by each cashier. This metric indicates workload distribution and can highlight staffing imbalances.
Revenue per Cashier
Totals the monetary value of all transactions processed by each cashier. Combined with transaction count, this reveals whether certain cashiers handle higher-value transactions or upsell more effectively.
Shift Performance
Analyzes cashier activity within the context of their shifts. Metrics may include average transactions per hour, total shift duration, and revenue generated per shift. This helps evaluate productivity and identify training opportunities.
Login and Logout Patterns
Tracks when each cashier logs in and out of the system. This data serves multiple purposes:
- Attendance verification -- Confirm that cashiers are starting and ending shifts on time.
- Coverage analysis -- Identify gaps in cashier coverage during operating hours.
- Accountability -- All actions taken during a cashier's logged-in period are attributed to them in the audit trail.
