General Settings
The General Settings category controls the fundamental locale, language, and display preferences for your HandyCafe server.
Country Selection
A dropdown list containing all countries. When you first launch HandyCafe, the country is auto-detected from the operating system locale. You can change it at any time.
Selecting a country automatically populates the currency fields in the Pricing settings to match that country's standard currency.
Language Selection
HandyCafe supports 24 languages for the server interface. Select your preferred language from the dropdown. The interface updates immediately after saving.

Each language option is displayed with its native name so that operators who do not read English can identify their language visually.
Font Selection
Choose the font used across the server interface. A font picker displays the available system fonts installed on the server machine. The selected font applies to all server UI text including menus, tables, dialogs, and reports.
Day of Week Start
Choose which day begins the week in calendars and scheduling grids:
- Sunday -- Standard in many regions (Americas, parts of Asia).
- Monday -- Standard in most of Europe and other regions following ISO 8601.
This setting affects the Pricing Schedule grid layout and any date-range selectors throughout the application.
Currency Auto-Population
When you select a country, the currency code and symbol fields in the Pricing Settings are automatically populated to match the country's official currency. You can still override these values manually in the Pricing category if needed.
